  • Summary

    The Project Manager (PM) reports in to the administrative part of the organization. The person in this role will work with a cross section of Eden business owners to provide project management support and services for specific, time-delimited projects that span functional areas. This role is responsible for the creation and execution of project plans and required activities surrounding a typical implementation. The PM will work with various department representatives to gather business requirements, identify project scope, assemble the appropriate resources and lay out a detailed plan for implementation. The Project Manager will also be required to provide analytical support (as applicable) to help identify and/or validate project expectations and identify any cross departmental areas of opportunity and/or conflict, requiring the Project Manager to learn Eden business practices, processes and business models.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Lead the planning and implementation of key projects: the emergency preparedness plan and the re-vamping of our document management process.
    • Develop full scale project plans, include defining project tasks and resource requirements
    • Create project scopes and objectives while involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
    • Manage project resource allocation and project budget
    • Plan and schedule project timelines
    • Track project deliverables using appropriate Eden tools
    • Coordinate internal and external resources including third parties/vendors management
    • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders and management
    • Highlight organizational change management challenges for project executive sponsors and help mitigate them.
    • Publish status reports covering project progress, issues and recommend solutions
    • Manage project change control, evaluations and assessment of results
    • Miscellaneous duties as assigned


    Will not have supervisory responsibility.



    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
    • Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience managing medium to large scale projects


    • Thorough understanding of project management principles.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Excellent organization skills
    • Ability to work without direct supervision
    • Strong understanding of change management principles and practices
    • Experience with emergency preparedness and business continuity planning preferred
    • Experience with document management processes and document management systems preferred
    • Expertise in Microsoft Project, Smartsheet and/or similar applications, and Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Word required)
    • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to effectively communicate amongst cross-functional groups and strong collaborative style
    • Flexibility in approach and perspective.


    • Must have valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance
    • PMP certification or other Project Management certificate preferred.


    Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
