POSITION SUMMARY   The Senior Corporate Controller oversees all the activities of the corporate and development accounting departments including corporate financials, development cost accounting, accounts payable, and budgeting. The Senior Corporate Controller provides meaningful and accurate financial information for all corporate entities to guide internal and external decision making.    He/she applies principles of accounting to create effective, efficient processes, controls and review for accounting.  He/she works across departments to provide leadership and support to ensure organizational goals are effectively planned and implemented.  This position will participate on cross-functional teams for the purpose of sharing department expertise from a broad perspective, to generate new ideas, better solutions and avert risk in both formal and informal settings.

Must maintain ongoing contact with employees on leave and their managers to coordinate time off and return to work. The Human Resources Specialist will report all workers’ compensation claims to the carrier on a timely basis and provide leave documentation while the employee is off work. This role will engage with employees who request accommodations under the ADA act. Ensure accurate data collection and output of reports and data to managers. Ongoing auditing, analysis and reconciliation of payroll and data; and maintenance of records and files. Maintenance of all personnel records both electronic and hard copies for the HR, Payroll & Recruiting department.   The Human Resources Specialist provides broad professional HR services to all Eden Housing managers and employees in the areas including (and not limited to): Payroll, Benefits, Leaves of Absence, Workers’ Compensation, Employment and Policy Administration/Compliance. The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for excellence in customer satisfaction and operating cost efficiencies for functional areas and serves as a resource to both managers and employees. Provides supports to the other members of the human resources team, as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY Under the direction of the Senior Property Operations Analyst, this position is responsible for insuring rent increases are properly calculated, monitored and in accordance with the rent increase policy as well as local and state ordinances overseeing tenant-based rent increases for a large portfolio of affordable units in northern and southern California.  The Property Operations Rent Analyst will keep current with affordable housing rent changes under various housing programs to include but not limited to CTCAC, HUD, HOME and other programs.  This position will also assist the Senior Property Operations Analyst with various other tasks.

Provides interim Property Management coverage for multiple sites during the absence of Property Manager and/or Property Manager vacancies.  In conjunction with the Lease Up Manager, the Roving Manager is responsible for coordinating and executing the lease-up process from start to finish, inclusive of marketing efforts, ongoing reporting requirements during lease-up, and ensuring all applicants are certified in compliance with all rules and regulations set forth by Eden Housing and it affiliates, HUD, Tax Credit, investors and other regulatory bodies.  Provides additional support to senior property management, compliance and asset management staff on special projects relating to lease-up and rehab process.

If you are hardworking, innovative, and passionate, then come join our team!   Under the direction of the Property Supervisor, the Community Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the property, and the day to day implementation of those policies, procedures and programs that will assure a well-managed, well-maintained building within established management operating and fiscal policies and assuring compliance with all regulatory agencies and investors.  This includes developing within the project a supportive environment for all residents, assuring the project's sound fiscal management, maintaining an acceptable occupancy level, maintaining a clean, well-maintained building and grounds, managing the onsite staff and their duties, interacting with and supervising vendors, and if applicable, working with a Board of Directors.   The Community Manager must relate well to people, must exercise good judgment and discretion in dealing with residents, visitors, vendors, and staff.  The Community Manager is required to provide leadership in developing a community and in directing the staff.  The Community Manager is expected to facilitate a staff that functions as a team and is cooperative with each other, the residents, and visitors to the property.   The Community Manager directly supervises one or more employees in accordance with Eden Housing’s policies and applicable laws.        Community Managers who live on-site will be responsible for performing all of the duties and responsibilities listed in the attached Night Manager job description that includes responding to all after-hours emergencies or building problems that arise.

This is a senior level role within the organization, responsible for building teams to develop and manage large-scale affordable housing projects. The position will lead a team in sourcing, originating, coordinating and implementing all aspects of the development process.
